Diapers, Deadlines, and Detours

Diapers: Well, that's easy to figure out. We've been changing diapers every day since October 2008 and loving every minute of it. Being a mom is WAY better than I ever could have imagined and is such a blessing. Isaiah is certainly a gift from God and is the perfect child for us.

Deadlines: We balance teaching, duty, grad classes, tutoring, yearbook, and being parents. It's almost too much, but somehow we make it through each day.

Detours: After spending a few years in China, including two years of full-time language study, we thought we'd stay there forever. But disillusionment and health problems led us back to the States and to MA. Coming home from China, God clearly answered our prayers for four things: a job, a place to live, a car, and good health insurance. So far this detour has lasted 3 1/2 years. We have almost completed Masters in Special Needs, degrees which we never expected to have. We often wonder what's next for us.....
